Payroll refers to a company's records of payments that were previously made to employees, including salaries and wages, bonuses, and withheld taxes. It is a complete process of determining the Gross and Net payments made to the employees, which is helpful not only for assessing the employee benefits cost, but also gives us a complete picture of the statutory dues outstanding, in relation to the employees.
